The SAMs team discovered a client was paying $38,000 per year support on an application they no longer used.

Approximately one in three major corporations pay out for repairs on systems that are still under original warranty.

Do you know precisely what you are paying for with your contracted Independent Software Vendors, suppliers and systems support / maintenance sources?   In the past, SAMs professionals have located inaccurate invoices in corporate vendor files.  An example is represented by the $38k yearly support agreement mentioned above.  Trouble was, the licensee hadn't used the product for nearly two years.
